Review by hotel critic
Nestled conveniently close to the Hochbrixen lift, this hotel offers a unique blend of comfort and culinary excellence. As an avid mountaineer from Kathmandu, I often seek refuge in places that prioritize sustainability and warm hospitality, and this hotel did not disappoint. During my stay, I had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant, where the ambiance was both inviting and relaxed—ideal for unwinding after a day of exploration. The culinary team showcased innovative dishes that displayed a remarkable thoughtfulness, drawing from both local ingredients and international flavors. Each meal felt like a celebration of what was fresh and seasonal, reminding me of the flavors I cherish back home. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, featuring a delightful array of options, from hearty breads to local cheeses. It was the perfect fuel for our next adventure. I also indulged in the full-service spa, offering a soothing retreat after long days outdoors. With stunning views from the wrap-around balcony in my room and free parking for our motorbikes, the entire experience was well-coordinated. If you find yourself in the area, this hotel is worth considering for its culinary offerings and convenient access to adventure.
